Peer Review Process
VALID involves writers, editors, section editors, and reviewers in the review process. The editor first checks each incoming manuscript. If the article meets the focus and scope and VALID writing guidelines, the manuscript is continued to the reviewer for review of the content and novelty of the manuscript; otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author. A maximum of two reviewers will examine each manuscript for six weeks with the criteria for assessing the manuscript as stated in the Article Assessment Form for Reviewers.
